Yes, you can say : “it’s nonsense”. What am I doing in this place? I’m just a mom with three sons, and one more is yet to come. But I still have this need within me. Dancing always puts wings on my feet. I couldn’t live like you do. I don’t want to waste my time. My biggest goal is to dance. I’ll get to become the best! My parents taught me this urge to win. Dancing always puts wings on my feet. But maybe I’m too old. I’m nothing but a fool, and I should go. Or maybe you only have to believe, Like if you were in a dream. My husband doesn’t agree, he will never understand me. My situation is worse: Competition is my own mom! We will find the strength to be free. Dancing always puts wings on my feet. I’m sure I’ll take this chance, and no one in this world will stop me! Because it’s worth a try, to reach and touch the sky. And everytime I move I’ll feel… It’s easy when you feel… Dancing puts wings on my feet.

There she is, alone watching TV. Because of me, she’s sitting on that wheelchair. But I don’t want to, I don’t want to just leave behind my dream. Mother, I want to tell you, as you know, I live for singing. And I’d like to take my chances, I can feel it’s something big. Success is waiting for me, Can’t you see? It is my dream. What the hell are you talking about, little man?! I think you’re getting crazy, you are just talking nonsense. You’re gonna listen what I say: First, you need to get a decent job. Then, go find a nice girl, and marry her. You’ll buy a very big house. You’ll give me a lot of grandsons, Obey your mom… Like everybody in this town. I can’t live the life you want for me. I’m sorry mom, but you’ll never clip my wings, and I will sing: That I don’t want to, I don’t want to just leave – oh dear - behind my dream. Put your feet on the ground – can’t you see – please - Get used to it - Get used to it and Find a job. That’s going to crush my soul. Marry a girl. The stage is my true love. Then buy a house. I want to see the world and please, Your grandsons have to wait. My dear mom, Maybe I’m not the perfect son, But you should know – you know - you will always have my love. - you will always have my love. - You’ll never be alone - You’ll never be alone And I just want to – my son - I just want to - I just want to - Feel happiness for you, - Feel happiness for you, and you know it’s like that, if you’re true to your heart, I will work very hard to - follow my dream. then just - follow your dream. Obey your mom. – I will - Just like nobody in this town. - Just like nobody in this town. - And I don’t want to, - And I don’t want to, - You’ll never want to, - You’ll never want to, - Just leave behind my dream. - Just leave behind my dream.

I belong to the stage, I am sure. I will reach for the hearts of the crowd. And I will pass through that curtain one day. And from the other side, I will feel alive. You can laugh, you can say, that my head is in the clouds. But I know that my fate is beyond this boring job. You’ll believe from your seat, how my spirit wins. My future is waiting for me, and I say “let the show begin”! You’ll believe. Can you feel? My time has come. And now I will rise from below. Because I’ll not waste all my life in this way. Cos’ finally I’m gonna be what I’ve always wanted to be. And you will believe. I belong to the stage, I am sure. I will reach for the hearts of the crowd. And I will pass through that curtain one day. And from the other side, I will feel alive. You can laugh, you can say, that my head is in the clouds. But I know I was born for this. And you will believe.
